Dispatch from the pre-partum testing unit at St. Vincent's Hospital
The babies are now 1.7 lbs each, growing (thankfully) at the same rate. All I can say is it takes a lot more protein and calcium and carbohydrate than one would think to produce just a little bit of new person. Based on what I've seen J eat, I'd say the ratio is about a truckload of foodstuff to one pound of baby.

Pickles? Lots and lots of pickles?
Have her foodie habits changed at all?
hard to believe that gargantuan belly only yields 3.4 lbs. of baby meat.
