satellite-snap your town

So google maps (which thoroughly bests mapquest & yahoo! maps, btw) is now integrated with satellite information. Building on this, flickr regulars are using the feature to make memorymaps, taking satellite snaps of their hometowns and writing about their memories. Sadly, the level of detail in the northern michigan satellite data is not great. I can see my building & yard in Brooklyn though.
